Hello, my name
is Rosemarie
This is my web page. My full name is Rosemarie von Cannon. I am the office manager, legal assistant and notary at the Burdette Law Firm. We serve West Tennessee with legal help in family law and divorce, plus estate planning and probate services, as well as representation in matters involving Federal Tax Court and the IRS.
From Bavaria to Proud American
My family comes from a town called Tauberbischofsheim on the 'Romantic Road' in north west Bavaria. I grew up in Frankfurt, but came to America, studied to pass my citizenship test, became a citizen, and even got a degree from Austin Peay. Now, outside of my grandchildren and family pets, one of my greatest joys in life is making friends with our clients, and helping them with their cases.
What I do now.
We have become heavily computerized. It's really remarkable what we can do! There are Zoom meetings, electronic documents, and automatic scheduling, even courtroom proceedings done entirely by Zoom - divorces, probate matters, you name it! For someone from the 'old world' it's quite amazing!
